Selfie with 2 out of 3 of my roomies! I had never met these ladies in person before this trip to Indy but we have bonded and connected so quickly! It's so amazing to travel and be so welcomed by open arms! I've always had insecurities with being liked by people. There were times that I would be surrounded by people in a room but I would feel so alone. There were times, even still, that I would walk into a room full of my friends and I would be insecure that none of them actually liked me. With coaching, I've been able to step outside of my insecurity box. I've been able to make best friends through social media who are so genuine and authentic and amazing. Whenever I don’t feel like working out or I feel like I’m in an exercise slump I try to get myself to a group fit class. BBG and weight lifting taught me to be an independent exerciser (which I lovvve) but there is something about working out with others to loud music that is just good for the soul! 🤸🏽‍♂️ As much as I love doing my own thing, I try to get myself to a group fit class at least once or twice a week! It helps keep my motivation up and I’ve made awesome friends in the process. Who else loves group fit? #gymbesties

Home sweet home...for like 24 hrs🤷🏽‍♀️ So... My course is almost done and there’s certainly a lot of things I’ve learned not just as an individual but as a team player as well. 1) I will ALWAYS don my BSI. (Yes we have stories and we’ve palpate each other in sweaty places at +30C weather) 2) Everytime someone dies in a show/movie, I stare at their chest and watch for breathing. 3) You can never have enough pens. (I’m pretty sure I’ve got everyone covered on this) 4) Transfers from anywhere to a stretcher is always easier to do in your head. (Physically doing it is harder and you start to question wtf you’re doing.) 5) “If it doesn’t delay scene time” becomes a huge inside joke. 6) OPQRST isn’t just the middle of the alphabet. (Seriously!) 7) You hear enough stories that you realize there are 2 types of EMS calls, Oh shit and Bullshit. 8) There literally is a blood sugar mnemonic: Hot & Dry = Sugar High, Cold & Clammy = Need some candy. 9) You always need a backup but you don’t always get what you asked for even if it’s pretend. 10) Totally irrelevant but would be cool is if Ambulances and Firetrucks could play “Move Bitch, Get Out The Way” 11) You start creating ways to remember not to fuck up your surveys. (ie: if the Pt is unconscious call them a CAB) 12) Air goes in and out. Blood goes round and round. Any deviation is a problem. 13) What’s that word when you have to elevate their feet up?? Oh yeah Trendelenburg position. (It’s a mouth full and yes there are no shortcuts) 13) You make “triangles” for just about everything. 14) Taylor Swift once said, “bandaids don’t fix bullet holes.” NO SHIT, occlusive dressing is what you need. 15) I’m pretty sure half the guys in my class pray they will never see a crowning vagina. Well that’s it for now. 😂😘

First round of weight cutting done with this HOT MAMA! 😍🤩 This gorgeous girl was struggling with some post baby weight that just refused to leave. She was working out hard, but couldn't quite get her body to drop the weight! Given that she didn't have a TON to lose, we simply adjusted her nutrition and slowly shed the pounds! We kept her calories SUPER high, cardio moderate, and sanity in check! 🤗 This next week she will enjoy a life of ZERO TRACKING while we give her metabolism a BOOST, and then back to the grind for a few more weeks before a happy, healthy, reverse! So 3 years ago today a friend from college sent me a message. She asked me if I wanted to join her challenge group and be a coach. I had no idea what the heck she was talking about! What is a challenge group? I didn’t even really know what Beachbody was! . . I was flattered that she asked me and thought I could be a coach! I thought about it for a second and decided to go for it! My boys were 2, 4 and 6 at the time. My husband is a firefighter and I work a full time job! Going to the gym was not an option. I had been doing workouts I found on Pinterest with no real plan and didn’t know how to properly eat to reach goals! . . So being able to workout from home and the workouts and nutrition were all laid out for me was what I needed! That was the initial reason I signed up!! We didn’t need the extra income. . . It’s what I have gotten out of this community is what really has made the difference over the results I’ve gotten from these kick butt workouts! . . This business and helping others get healthy has given me a purpose other than being a mom! We as busy moms tend to always put ourselves on the back burner!
